Stories are composed by different elements. Through manipulating existing elements, new stories can be created. 

Chilean film director Raúl Ruiz’s Combat d’amour en songe (2000), is a film whose nonlinear narrative spans nine interweaving stories. Ruiz composed the film based on 13th century philosopher Ramón Llull’s thinking system Ars Combinatoria, a combining logical system to reveal the truth. 

By twisting the cube, viewers can either try to solve the cube to get closer to the stories Ruiz created in the film, or invent new stories of their own in the process.
